German photography magazine SCHWARZWEISS has released their new issue #161 (August/September 2024).

Next to the cover image by Cooper Seykens a beautiful feature of 8 pages on the series “Mexico” by Cooper Seykens has been included in this magazine.

SCHWARZWEISS has been dedicated exclusively to black and white photography for over 30 years.
The high-quality printed magazine presents the work of international photographers in extensive photo series and examines their working methods through interviews with the artists and in the form of image analyses.
In addition to current photographic works, the magazine also shows historical works by important photographers and also presents young, as yet unknown talents.
The portfolios focus on questions about the artists’ intentions and approach as well as the composition and design of the images.
The magazine also deals with selected technical topics that are particularly of interest to black and white photography.
Cameras, lenses, films, papers and accessories are examined in extensive practical tests.
Both digital and analog photo topics are taken into account in BLACK AND WHITE.
The magazine takes a look at the current museum and gallery scene and presents interesting exhibitions in multi-page photo series.
Books and illustrated books in the field of black and white photography are also discussed.
