Robert Silvers was born in 1968 and he lives and works in Marshfield, WI, U.S.A.
Combining groundbreaking digital technology with photography, fine art and a keen imagination, Robert Silvers developed Photomosaic™, the innovative and timely idea of pointillism for the digital age. While likened to Chuck Close fragmented portraiture and the brilliant palette of George Seurat Photomosaics™ are exuberantly colored montages of tiny digital photographs that blend together to form a larger image of popular appeal. Ingeniously breaching the gap between art and science, Robert Silvers’ ubiquitous photomosaics portray familiar images throughout history and contemporary culture, either portraits of well-known personalities, world currency or fascinating renditions of masterpiece paintings. Silvers invented his craft while still a student at MIT. His intricate works offer a unique optical perspective and have gained world wide acclaim as part of famous art collections such as: AXA Courtage, Coca-Cola, CNN, Disney, Fortune Magazine, IBM, Lucasfilm Ltd., MasterCard International, National Geographic, and Newsweek. #fineart #fineartphotography #lifestyle #interiordesign #marilyn #marilynmonroe #forevermarilyn #photomosaic #hollywood #icons

Maria’s distinctive style departs from traditional portraiture and focuses on experimentation with space, color, and atmosphere. Taking an interest in communist-era architecture and public spaces, Maria transforms each scene with a modern freshness that highlights the depth and range of her creative palette. The human body throughout her oeuvre is more or less a peripheral afterthought, often portrayed as aloof and demure rather than substantive. Carefully composed figures create thematic, dream-like scenes with ordinary objects. Her images hold a silent tension that hints at emergent possibilities under the lilt of clean and smooth surfaces. The overall effect evokes a contemplative silence in an extended moment of promise and awareness - a quality difficult to achieve in the rapid pace of modern life. Maria’s postmodern vision boldly articulates a dialog that compels the viewer to respond to the mystery, loneliness, and isolation of the human experience.
Nevertheless, deeply embedded within the aqueous pastels, Maria’s compositions hold to a celebratory elegance that transforms the viewer’s gaze into an enduring reverence for life’s simple beauty. #art #fineart #pool #artmiami #artwynwood #lifestyle #interiordesign #mood #fineartphotography #designer #influencer

Statement A Testament to Love.
A Testament to Love is a narrative about the struggles of life when love goes wrong. The women in my images wrestle with the eternal search for a happy ending, but find themselves left with feelings of solitude, loneliness, fear, regret and resignation. Are they searching for a meaning to their lives or just waiting for something to happen. Each image is set against a cinematic background, which is inspired by the style of locations and lighting in Hollywood films from the 1960s and 1970s as well as the iconic work of Edward Hopper. I use hard lighting and prefer atmospheric skies to heighten the drama in broad daylight. These images are like stills from a movie and I have captured the moment just before or just after the climax of the scenario. They illustrate the outcome of an unsuccessful meeting with a lover, the product of a painful goodbye or maybe just a reflection of our own inner anxieties. These scenarios are laden with emotion and tension and leave the viewer with more questions than answers. However the women are not simply passive recipients of life's drama but an integral part with their own important roles to play. They are empowered. Are they being followed or are they following? Are they leaving or have they been left? It's up to the viewer to decide, but I would guess the conclusions reveal as much about the viewers experiences as my intentions.

Stament series ‘Looking Out from Within’. COVID-19. Time stands still for most of us. It is a sensitive time and we all feel vulnerable and anxious. Many self-isolate. During the days prior to the pandemic I was ultra-busy planning a photographic shoot with a large team of people, assistants, stylists, hair and make-up team, prop stylists, set designers etc. and was in-line for a couple of jobs. Suddenly, everything stopped. The assignments were cancelled and I had to postpone my project two days before the shoot as the risk appeared too great. I felt numb but I knew that I couldn’t stand around and do nothing, I decided to document today’s existence as lived now by many people. I chose to capture them in their lockdown isolation, effectively imprisoned behind the windows of their homes looking out onto a different desolate world. This might only be a mini-project but in my eyes a very important one for posterity. At the same time it is helping to keep me sane in this exceptional and disturbing phase of our lives. And I find it extremely rewarding as I am enjoying meeting people who, without doubt, I would never ever have met before. They cover the entire spectrum of society and occupations which, in itself, has been a fascination to me. I am also re-learning how to take pictures in a simpler way without a large crew!

Contortion. Who doesn’t marvel at the physical art of contortionists, their elegance and gracefulness, but above all the way they can manipulate their bodies into such unbelievably dramatic positions, right down to the curl of a finger. Contortionism is one of the oldest physical art forms, dating back to ancient civilization as illustrated in paintings and sculptures from ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt. Apart from the bodily characteristics of flexibility, strength and apparent double-jointedness, a contortionist requires years of dedication to extremes of discipline and training, often beginning in childhood, to acquire the fluid artistry needed to create a serpentine dance of the human body. In the past, contortionists were associated almost exclusively with circuses and fairs, where it entertained by incorporating elements of humour, drama, shock, sensuality, or a blend of all of them. Nowadays it has also become a hobby much enjoyed by many youngsters.

New fine art photographic work ‘Presidential Ina New fine art photographic work ‘Presidential Inauguration Biden’ from the series ‘Day to Night’ by Stephen Wilkes.
The inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice Pressident Kamala Harris.
On Wednesday, January 20 2021, Stephen Wilkes was allowed access to the National Mall in Washington D.C., where he photographd this year’s historic inauguration.
He photographed for 15 hours from a scissor lift overlooking a sea of 200,00 flags covering the mall, representing the people who would have attended the event under different circumstances. By seamlessly combining individual photographs taken from dawn until nightfall, the image encapsulates the entire day from President Donald Trump’s morning departure in Marine One (top right) to the midday inauguration ceremony and finally the evening’s memorial lights commemorating those lost to the pandemic.
In the ‘Day to Night’ series cityscapes and landscapes are portrayed from a fixed camera angle, capturing fleeting moments of humanity and nature as light passes in front of the lens over the course of a full day. A select group of these images are blended into a single composite.
